Channeling your western vibes does not have to be always connected with cowboy hats and cowboy boots. Sometimes all you need  is pleated skirt and denim shirt. Don’t you think?

Ok, adding a wide, fabulous, belt to accentuate you waist,  and to bring together that pleated skirt and shirt combination. Some additional spicing can be done with the touch of gold details, like a big cuffs or metallic sunglasses (or like in this case, with both).

Not to mention that with the pleated skirt and denim shirt you have comfort and chic at the same time. Not to mention that pleated skirts are the major fashion trend this season. And I already talked about the denim trend and denim shirts (in this post). So combining those two you are checking your major trends list without looking like a trying to much and being a fashion victim.

And let’s face it…pleated skirt is perfect for twirling around in (and yes, you have to do that even when you are almost 40).

Fall outfit
Oh, there are a lot of things on my mind lately, but fashion wise, it is all about bomber jacket, flared jeans and suede. And of course cozy oversized knitted turtlenecks. Fall shopping may commence.

What’s in My Bag: Travel Addition

March-and-May-what-is-in-my-bag-Michael-Kors-bag

By the time this post see  the light of the day, I will be landing in Serbia for a two months holiday, and I thought it would be appropriate to write a post about t what’s in my bag (travel addition). So lets get started.

P.S. Considering that I will be away for two months (and that I am not staying at the same place all the time) I am not sure what the Internet connection will be so I am apologizing in advance. I will try to post as much as possible, but please be patient with me.

Wide Leg Pants, Hats and Red Lips

March-and-May-wide-leg-pants-hats-and-red-lips-70s-fashion-curvy-fashion-blogger

70s are not my most favourite fashion decade, but they definitively had some moments that are just irresistible. Wide leg pants and hats for example.  Simple items that give you instant glamour and transfer you to another time. Don’t you agree?  View Post

70s Love Platform Heels

March-and-May-platform-heels-70s-inspiration

1. GUESS Platform Heels // 2. Prada T-strap Platform Sandals // 3. Saint Lurent Bianca Platform Sandals // 4. MICHAEL Michael Kors Natalia Platform Sandals // 5. Charlotte Russe Platform heels // 6. Gucci Claudie Denim Platform Sandals // 7. Jimmy Choo Nemisis Platform Sandals // 8. MICHAEL Michael Kors Beatrice Platform Clogs //

Oh those 70s!!! What is not to like about them. Flare jeans, Studio 54, Hippy movement and of course platform heels, among other things. And this season with the return of the 70s on the fashion scene, platform heels came back in full glory.

Short or higher heel, chunkier or thinner it is your choice, but no matter what your preferences are, you will feel glamorous this summer. And not to forget so much more comfortable. So let’s bring 70s glamour on our feats. I definitely will do. And yes, I know the last pair is clogs, but they are so cute. 🙂

Do you like platform heels or do you prefer to skip this trend?
