Oh, looking at these photos, I feel so nostalgic. Even though they were taken a week ago. And why? Because, it was a warm, beautiful, sunny day, were I was able to wear my Chanel flats, no socks and no coat. And now, outside is cold, grey and yes, there is snow on the ground. I know, terrible!!!
But while I’m thinking about when, again, will I be able to wear my red Gucci bag fringed jeans combination, without boots and socks; I can just pray this winter will be mild (we can all dream, right?).
So I guess, this is my good by to summer (insert crying here). I miss it already.
Long, long time no see. And I have to say…missed you guys so much.
To be totally honest, I had no plan to make this big of a break, but it was surely needed. My traveling this summer was fun, but it was so exhausting. It was a 6 weeks trip going from one place to another (on a plus 40C) that totally drained me up.
Not to mention that the last couple of days I ended up being sick, which added additionally to the drainage (I must have been getting old). Anyhow, since I came back, blogging and social media were last thing I wanted to do. Do not get me wrong, I love blogging and all that comes with it, but lately I was just to overwhelmed with everything.
Followers, numbers, stats became so much, that all the things I loved about this whole blogging process were forgotten.
I could not even look at my phone, let alone write anything. But I guess we all get to the point where we all just need a time off to defuse. And trust me, I took one. I just tried to rest as much as possible and binge watched Supernatural (I am obsessed guys).
That also gave me time to gather myself and to figure some things in life (I sound so serious), and one of them was do I want to blog anymore or not. And the answer was (obviously) YES!
No matter how stressful it gets, or when I end up feeling uninspired, bottom line is, I LOVE BLOGGING. I really do. So I hope you will forgive me this little hiatus and continue to follow me. After all, we all need a break from time to time. Am I right?
Happy Monday my friends. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
I have never been a fan of pink color or the ruffles, but lately I am obsessed with both (go figure). But yet again, my fashion taste did changed quite a lot over the years. So when I saw this Addition Elle blouse I was in love. Pink and ruffles. Perfect combination.
This blouse can easily be worn in a combination for work, or date night or in a casual form for a coffee date with your friends or a brunch (brunch is always a good idea).
As you can see, this time I did go with pink ruffles and fringe jeans combination. I think it gives you just a perfect amount of girly and edgy in one outfit. Don’t you think so?
Do you have any items that you hated growing up, but that you cannot resist today? Let me know in the comments.
Happiness is not expensive, and that is for sure. For me, it can be a girls night out with some tacos and tequila or a simple statement shirt white pants outfit combination. I know, I am so simple, am I?
But it is true. When you think about it, the smallest, most inexpensive (mostly free) things in life are the ones that brings us the most happiness. Your child’s laughter, first kiss, or rainbow after the rain.
In today’s world, we do run after all the things that we think will bring us happiness, and most often neglect to nourish and enjoy those sweet little moments. So today, stop and smell those flowers (in full sense of the word) and smile. Problems will still be there, so take your time for a moment of happiness.
Another Monday and another week to slay. And what better way to do that than in a wide leg pants. Not to mention that they do help to perfectly hide all the excess chocolate (and any and all excess food you might indulge).
So put your big wide leg pants and go conquer this week like #girlboss.
